Teesri Aankh is a Bollywood action drama film directed by Subodh Mukherji and produced by Subir Mukherjee with a multi-star cast. The film was released under the name of Sasadhar Mukherjee Productions on April 23, 1982. Laxmikant–Pyarelal was in charge of the music.
Kailash Nath, an honest common man, invites a newborn orphan infant into their home one day. Kailash and his wife, Malati, raise him and name him Ashok. Kailash is confronted by Jabbar Singh, a notorious dacoit. Jabbar then threatens Kailash, but Kailash’s friend, Inspector Om, catches Jabbar, and he is condemned to death by hanging.
Sheru, Jabbar’s son, kills Kailash in retaliation. Kailash tells Malati on his deathbed that Ashok is the son of his first wife. Malati promises to look after Ashok as if he were his own child, but she is unable to do so. She frequently accuses Ashok of thinking of himself as a stepson.
After the death of Kailash, one of her other two sons, Amar, went missing, while another, Anand, fell into bad company and was imprisoned for criminal charges. Her family became cursed. Malati seeks help from Ashok because she has no other options. They get together to combat the enemy.
