Drishyam 3 at Rs 308.50 Crore: Devgn’s First 300-Crore Hit

Drishyam: The Conclusion has become Ajay Devgn's first Rs 300 crore net earner in India in 10 days and his top global grosser at Rs 456 crore.

Devgn's first 300-crore hit at Rs 308.50 crore

Ten days into its run, Drishyam: The Conclusion has done what no Ajay Devgn film has managed before: crossed Rs 300 crore in net India collections and placed itself at the top of the actor’s all-time box-office list.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film stars Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Kamlesh Sawant and Prakash Raj. It is the third and final instalment in the Hindi crime-drama series.

10 days, three records

The film collected approximately Rs 308.50 crore net in India by the end of its second weekend, according to trade figures cited by MensXP.com. That takes it past Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Devgn’s previous best with Rs 279.55 crore. It also becomes his first film to cross $10 million in overseas markets.

At the global level, the new order is equally notable. Devgn’s top five worldwide grossers are now led by Drishyam: The Conclusion at Rs 456 crore, ahead of Singham Again at Rs 389.64 crore, Tanhaji at Rs 367.65 crore, Drishyam 2 at Rs 345.05 crore and Golmaal Again at Rs 311.18 crore.

A new ranking for the star

The record resets Devgn’s career ladder. His previous high in India had belonged to Tanhaji; now the top of the list reads:

  • Drishyam: The Conclusion (2026) — Rs 308.50 crore approx. (10-day business, blockbuster)
  • Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020) — Rs 279.55 crore (blockbuster)
  • Singham Again (2024) — Rs 268.35 crore (average)
  • Drishyam 2 (2022) — Rs 240.54 crore (blockbuster)
  • Golmaal Again (2017) — Rs 205.69 crore (blockbuster)

The Mumbai-circuit record adds another layer: Devgn is now the only superstar with three Rs 100 crore-plus blockbusters in that territory — Tanhaji, Singham Again and Drishyam: The Conclusion.

What the third weekend will decide

The trade expects the film to finish in the Rs 550-600 crore range worldwide and above Rs 400 crore in India. A Rs 500 crore India total is still a possibility, but only if the film holds strongly in its third weekend against new releases. Current tracking suggests that is unlikely.

For a franchise built on a family’s secret and the ordinary man’s desperation, the numbers are anything but small. The question now is not whether Drishyam will be remembered as a hit, but how high it can climb before the final credits close.
