Drishyam 3 crosses Rs 315.25 cr India net

The third chapter of one of Hindi cinema’s most closely followed crime-thriller series is now collecting milestones rather than merely numbers. On its second Monday, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion added Rs 6.25 crore net in India, lifting the India net total to Rs 315.25 crore and the worldwide gross to Rs 487.24 crore, according to box office tracking.

The Day 11 picture

The film played across 13,605 shows on Monday. That is a predictable cooling after a strong second weekend, but it still keeps the film on a milestone path. India gross stands at Rs 378.24 crore, while overseas gross has reached Rs 109 crore.

The India net run so far is:

  • Week 1: Rs 245.50 crore
  • Day 8: Rs 14.50 crore
  • Day 9: Rs 26.50 crore
  • Day 10: Rs 22.50 crore
  • Day 11: Rs 6.25 crore

Total India net: Rs 315.25 crore.

Why the hold matters

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion closes a series that began in 2015 and continued with Drishyam 2 in 2022. Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar, a cable operator and film lover who uses his understanding of cinema and human behaviour to protect his family. The cast includes Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajat Kapoor and Prakash Raj.

For a franchise finale chasing lifetime records, the second Monday is a useful signal. A drop from Rs 22.50 crore on Sunday to Rs 6.25 crore on Monday is normal for a weekday, but the size of that hold shows whether the audience is still turning up after the opening rush. The film faces new releases such as Nayyi Navelli, Ranabaali, Prahaar and Street Fighter, so its ability to retain screens and audience interest will shape the next leg.

The milestones in reach

The film is now roughly Rs 10 crore short of the Rs 325 crore India net mark and just under Rs 13 crore away from the Rs 500 crore worldwide gross milestone. The immediate target is Rs 325 crore; the larger question is whether weekday and third-weekend holds can carry it to Rs 350 crore India net.

Box office totals are compiled from public and industry sources and can shift as official studio data comes in. What is not in doubt is the direction: the final Drishyam is consolidating its place as one of the year’s major Hindi theatrical releases.
