Actor Hrithik Roshan has extended a helping hand towards the fellow members from Cine and Tv artistes Association (CINTAA). The actor has donated an amount of Rs 20 Lakh to help the government fight against covid-19 that has infected many all over India. As per the recent report, Like several other Bollywood celebrities, Hrithik Roshan has also donated the figure to help the BMC workers and the government in fighting the spread of the virus.
Amit Behl, General Secretary of CINTAA says, “Hrithik Roshan had helped us during the last lockdown too; he had donated Rs 25 lakh. This time, the money he gives us will be utilised in getting 5000 members of the association vaccinated and help members below the poverty line with ration”.
Amit further shared that actor Vicky Kaushal has also made a donation of around Rs 2.5 lakh while actress Flora Saina has donated Rs 25 thousand, and there other members too, who have made donations to the association. He said, “Hrithiks’ big donation is going to be of huge help to us,”. Amit added, “CINTAA has already provided ration to 1400 members and transferred Rs 3000 to about 2000 members of the association, from the funds accumulated over the years”.
Several actors have come forward to help the health and daily workers with meals and aids. Some of the celebrities like Sonu Sood, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Akshay Kumar- Twinkle Khanna, Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandes.
