A magnificent trailer launch of a film based on the life story of Maharashtra’s cabinet minister Dharmaraovbaba Atram, who was held captive by Naxalites for 17 days, was conducted in Mumbai. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Rajya Sabha Member Praful Patel. The film titled “Dharmaraobaba Atram – The King of Hearts” is produced by Ebina Entertainment and directed by Bhushan Arun Chaudhari. Actor Jitesh More has portrayed the character of young Dharmaraobaba Atram in the film.
The grand event witnessed the presence of MLAs Sandeep Dhurve, Anil Patil, Minister Aditi Sunil Tatkare, Dinesh Waghmare, Abhimanyu, Nisha Jamwal, along with several other distinguished guests.
The producer of the film, Nitu Joshi, stated that she wanted to make an inspirational film for society. She shared, “When I began my research, I visited Naxalite areas and heard about Baba’s story. He was only 14 years old when his father passed away. After that, hearing about his struggles and achievements, I decided to make a film on him. Spending 17 days in the clutches of Naxalites must have been extremely difficult for him.”
Minister Dharmaraobaba Atram expressed, “I have been given a new life. I drank water from streams and returned alive from the clutches of Naxalites. This entire journey has been depicted in this film.”
