Cinedreams International Film Festival: Poonam Dhillon, Boman Irani, Yashpal Sharma, and Megha Ray Attend Event Organized by Ayub Khan

The first Cinedreams International Film Festival, founded and organized by Ayub Khan, took place at Mumbai’s PVR Theatre, showcasing a wide array of films in various languages. The event was graced by the presence of several notable celebrities, including Poonam Dhillon, Boman Irani, Yashpal Sharma, Megha Ray, Ravi Gossain, Anup Soni, Ekta Jain, Rajesh Telang, and co-organizer Sayeed Ahmad, among others.

The festival featured a diverse selection of films, including Dharmaraobaba Atram (Dilon Ka Raja), Masterpiece, The Imam, Dada Lakhmi, Naneera, Avatari, Promotion, Raj Kapoor Loni Tunes, Baaz, Antarnaad, Black Coffee, End is Beginning, Depression, Last Scene, Break the Silence, and Betelgeuse.

TV actress Megha Ray’s debut short film Masterpiece garnered significant attention at the festival. Co-produced by Nimisha Tiwari, Masterpiece tells the story of a passionate photographer and was originally created for an OTT platform. Megha expressed her joy at seeing the film on the big screen, calling it a proud moment.

Yashpal Sharma’s directorial venture, the Haryanvi feature film Dada Lakhmi, also received widespread acclaim. Celebrities like Poonam Dhillon,Anup Soni, Rajesh Telang and Ravi Gossain attended the screening and praised Sharma’s exceptional direction.

The biographical film Dharmaraobaba Atram – Dilon Ka Raja, based on the life of Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Dharmaraobaba Atram, was well received by the audience. Director Bhushan Arun Chaudhary expressed his gratitude to the film’s producer, Nitu Joshi, and commended Cinedreams International Film Festival for its excellent initiative.

Boman Irani and other attendees were deeply moved by the film The Imam, directed by Saba. The film, which tells the story of a six-year-old girl, touched the hearts of many in the audience, with Irani noting that many were brought to tears.

Ayub Khan, a veteran of the film industry with over four decades of experience as a producer, director, writer, and distributor, is the founder and organizer of the Cinedreams International Film Festival, with Sayeed Ahmad as his co-organizer.

This festival provides an excellent platform for filmmakers and actors to showcase their work through short films, offering them a voice in the cinematic world.
