Actor Sikandar Kher was last seen in Disney+ Hotstar’s family crime drama web show, ‘Aarya’.  The actor was extremely appreciated for his role in the web show. Now,  Sikandar is all geared up for his next venture called ‘Chidiya Udd’. Produced by Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri, the show will be streaming on MX Player.

Additionally, the show will be helmed by ace Marathi director, Ravi Jadhav.  Ravi is known for delivering super successful movies like Banjo, Chhatrapati Shivaji, and the Timepass duology. The show will also star Slumdog Millionaire fame Madhur Mittal in a pivotal role.

Jackie Shroff will be seen alongside Sikandar Kher in Chidiya Udd

Meanwhile, Jackie Shroff would be joining the cast of ‘Chidiya Udd’ along with Sikandar Kher in the lead role.  Sikander and Jackie have previously worked together in the 2019 sleeper hit, Romeo Akbar Walter.  As per sources,  the web show reportedly has Sikandar playing one of the most challenging roles of his career.

While Sikandar is really excited for his next venture in ‘Chidiya Udd’, he feels that the show is going to be a tightrope walk. Sikander Kher feels that the show not just caters to a mass audience but at the same time aims to click with the international audience. I think we have struck the right mix of both sides. Therefore, we are anticipating that the show will go far and wide.

The actor says, “Extremely excited for Chidiya Udd as it has an international feel. It certainly looks like a show that will go far and wide and be worthy of a world audience. The show was a very tricky tightrope to walk for all of us because with this show, we are trying to capitalize on a certain mass audience that the country has and also reach out to the global viewer.”

Furthermore, Sikandar Kher reveals, “ So there were certain dos and don’ts that came with the territory.  For this reason, we had to be careful with the tonality. I think we’ve hit the right blend of both sides. I am grateful to Harman and Vicky for providing me with this wonderful opportunity.”
