Nakhrewaalii day two nets ₹15 lakh

Day two: a small release ticks upward

Nakhrewaalii, the Rahul Shanklya-directed comedy drama, added an estimated ₹15 lakh in India net collections on its second day, according to Sacnilk. That is a 15.4% improvement over day one’s ₹13 lakh, and it came from 504 shows.

The film’s premise follows Sumit, who becomes Sumita when love and a government job demand it. Through two days, the India net total stands at ₹28 lakh, with India gross at ₹33 lakh. Day two therefore accounts for a little over half of the running total. Overseas and worldwide gross figures remain unavailable.

Reading the region and show counts

The National Capital Region carried the largest Hindi 2D show count on day two with 114 shows, while Ahmedabad recorded the strongest occupancy among tracked centres at 12.3%. An estimated 6,166 tickets were sold on day two, taking the run’s ticket count to 11,725.

  • Day two net: ₹15 lakh, up 15.4% from day one
  • Total India net: ₹28 lakh; gross: ₹33 lakh
  • Sunday advance: ₹19.18 lakh gross as of midnight IST on 1 November

Why the rise needs scale

A 15.4% Saturday bump is encouraging as a direction, but on this base it is only about ₹2 lakh in new collections. For readers who follow Hindi cinema closely, this is a useful reminder to read percentage growth alongside absolute numbers: the trend is positive, yet the film remains a micro release competing for limited shows and attention.

The advance booking for Sunday, ₹19.18 lakh gross as of early 1 November, suggests the upward movement may continue into the weekend’s final day. The question is whether a small film can convert a favourable percentage trend into meaningful occupancy beyond its strongest centres.
