On November 8, 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the country’s demonetization. During this time, people in every area of India experienced a variety of issues. It’s unclear what kind of an impact this has had on black money, however, the ordinary people spent their mornings and evenings in the queue just outside of the bank. However, in the interim, we’ve all witnessed individuals around us using various methods to turn their black money into white money in one way or another. Whether it’s to deposit money into the house worker’s account or anything else.

Cash 2021, Amol Prashar

Armaan Gulati portrayed by Amol Parashar, the protagonist of this movie, needs to make money. As his business ventures frequently fail. In the aftermath of demonetization, he realises that just by laundering money, he may profit from commissions. He understands how to shift money since he is quick-witted. He now possesses a total of 5 crore rupees, that he carries with him everywhere he goes, from jewellery shops to train tickets. If the stakes are higher, there will be even more money involved in this situation. Including the humour throughout the movie, there also is the tension of whether Armaan will be able to execute the money juggling, which you will learn about after this laugh riot. Against the backdrop of demonetization, director Rishabh Seth has released a comedic picture that will not wear you out.

Simultaneously, under the guise of the movie, we learn about a slew of other methods wherein black money was transformed to white throughout the demonetization process. The movie has already been released on OTT and is one that you may watch with your family over dinner. The movie’s canvas isn’t particularly large. It’s much like everyday life. VFX or large sets have no place in the tale. As a result, it continues to go forward in a lighthearted manner. Amol Parashar was recently seen in the film ‘Sardar Udham.’ On-screen, Amol, who debuted in the film ‘Rocket Singh,’ exudes confidence. However, he lacks the charisma to carry the film on his shoulders.

He takes on the role of his friend, who stands by him even when he doesn’t want to. Kevin is just a gifted performer who radiates naturalness. Smriti Kalra, who plays the lead in the film, doesn’t have much to say. Swanand Kirkire and Gulshan Grover have also contributed significantly. There aren’t a lot of songs in the movie. Its music isn’t memorable, yet it doesn’t drag you down during the movie. The work of director Rishabh Seth is commendable. However, there is a problem: it has been 5 years since he told the storey. As a spectator, it takes time to engage with the plot in this circumstance. The film is entertaining and is recommended to watch.
