Mahaveer Jain Films has introduced a new moving logo, and its first public statement is a deliberate one: the banner wants to be read alongside Rajshri Films. The identity is dedicated to Maa Saraswati, and it draws on Rajshri’s 79-year record of family-oriented cinema, the production house said.
The title card will make its theatrical debut with Yeh Prem Mol Liya, Sooraj Barjatya’s forthcoming film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari. That debut follows the two banners’ earlier collaboration on Uunchai in 2022.
A rebrand with a spiritual register
Mahaveer Jain Films describes the logo as carrying purity, spirituality and divinity. The title music, composed by Tanishk Bagchi, is devotional yet cinematic, so the first seconds of a Mahaveer Jain film will feel closer to a blessing than a corporate ident.
The move is a compact piece of legacy branding. It borrows trust from Rajshri’s nearly eight decades of values-led, family-facing storytelling while adding a devotional signature of its own. Launching the identity inside a Barjatya-directed film makes that association visible from the first frame.
Why it matters for Hindi cinema audiences
Production-house logos are not neutral in Hindi cinema. They carry the memory of a slate — the family romances of Rajshri, the scale of a banner, the taste of a producer. A newer company choosing this register is effectively promising what kind of films it intends to back.
- The logo’s first big-screen appearance is Yeh Prem Mol Liya.
- It follows Uunchai, deepening the Rajshri-Mahaveer Jain association.
- The banner’s next slate after this includes Naagzilla and White.
What to watch
If Yeh Prem Mol Liya connects with family audiences, the new identity will be attached to a success from day one, a valuable asset for the titles that follow. Even before the film opens, the logo has stated its case: this is a production house seeking legacy, not merely visibility.
