It’s been a long time in the making for these performers. If you’re thinking about becoming a vegetarian, take a look at these five celebrities to get inspired from.
PETA named Amitabh Bachchan the “hottest” vegetarian star not once, but thrice. The veteran actor gave up meat, cereals, aerated beverages, smoking, and alcohol due to health concerns.
Shahid Kapoor is known for his rigid fitness program as well as his flawless acting ability. But did you know that Shahid is also a vegetarian? The actor stopped eating meat after reading Brian Hines’ Life Is Fair. His father Pankaj Kapur gave the book to him, and in 2011, he was named Asia’s “sexiest” vegetarian.
PETA named Shraddha Kapoor the ‘hottest’ vegetarian in 2020. She also stated on Instagram that she does not eat beef. She remains a vegetarian despite the hostility in the comments. On her trip, she was inspired by PETA’s cookbook, and she highlighted that she is a savvy eater who can’t give up food ‘totally.
Despite growing up in a non-vegetarian household, Kangana Ranaut was named PETA’s Hottest Vegetarian. “Being a non-vegetarian stifled my spiritual growth,” she said in an interview. Going to that path was difficult, and I won’t pretend that I don’t miss it, but if you have the determination, you can do it.” She also mentioned that she became a vegan after learning that dairy made her acidic.
Bollywood actors Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia became vegetarians a few years ago. Imagine Meats, a firm founded by the two, manufactures plant-based meat that may be used as a meat alternative. “I was a severe meat eater who converted vegetarian 4 years ago,” Riteish wrote in a post. To be honest, there have been occasions when I’ve yearned for the flavor and pleasure of meat. I’m a much happy vegetarian now that Plant-Based Meat is available. I’d rather simply think about meat.”
