To participate in a ten-day vipassana meditation course at the Vipassana Meditation Centre in Nepal, Aamir Khan travels to that country.

Aamir Khan, a perfectionist in Bollywood who is taking a vacation from acting, has arrived in Nepal for a meditation session. It’s true what you just read! According to the most recent rumours, Aamir has travelled to Nepal to take part in a ten-day vipassana meditation course at the Budhanilkantha Vipassana Meditation Centre. After leaving the airport, Aamir will immediately go to Budhanilkantha and begin the session.

Rup Jyoti, a representative of the Vipashna Centre in Nepal, confirmed the same to ANI, saying, “Yes he is here to undergo 11 days of Vipashna meditation. He has already been enrolled in the session from today. From the airport, he directly came to Budhanilkantha and started the session.”

Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir’s grandiose film endeavour, tragically flopped at the box office, according to the uninitiated. The movie was reputedly Aamir Khan’s lowest-rated production, and the star was reportedly greatly hurt by its failure. Following its publication, the 50-year-old made the announcement that he was giving up acting to devote more time to his family and issued a statement to that effect.

He said, “When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost in that, that nothing else happens in my life, which is why I decided to take a break. I was supposed to do a film called ‘Champions’ after ‘Laal Singh….’ It’s a wonderful script, a beautiful story. It’s a very heartwarming and lovely film, but I want to take a break. I want to be with my family, my mom, and my kids.”

Aamir has been making several public appearances; most recently, he was spotted at Arpita Khan’s extravagant Eid party, when he reconnected with Salman Khan, an old buddy. Prior to this, he was there for the National Conclave on Mann Ki Baat’s opening ceremony in Delhi last month.
