Drishyam 3 nears Rs 577.56 crore worldwide on Day 28

Day 28 live tracking

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has completed four weeks in cinemas and is still adding modest numbers. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, the film was running across 1,129 shows on Day 28 and had earned Rs 0.20 crore net by the time of live tracking, with final figures yet to be reported. That moves the domestic total to Rs 372.30 crore net and the India gross to Rs 445.90 crore.

The picture’s totals have now pushed past Rs 372 crore net in India and Rs 577 crore in worldwide gross. The immediate headline is no longer about opening power; it is about whether the final chapter can cross two round numbers before screens begin to disappear.

Domestic collection: a high base, then a steady fade

The domestic run was front-loaded, as franchise finales often are. Week 1 delivered Rs 245.50 crore net, with an India gross of Rs 294.60 crore. Week 2 added Rs 87.50 crore, taking India net to Rs 333 crore and India gross to Rs 399.05 crore. Week 3 contributed Rs 28.85 crore, lifting India net to Rs 361.85 crore.

Week 4 has so far added Rs 10.25 crore. The daily figures tell the story of a film now in its tail: Rs 1.40 crore on Day 22, Rs 2.65 crore on Day 23, Rs 3 crore on Day 24, Rs 1.05 crore on Day 25, Rs 1.25 crore on Day 26 and Rs 0.90 crore on Day 27. The India net at that last tally was Rs 372.10 crore, before the Day 28 live figure nudged it to Rs 372.30 crore.

Overseas and worldwide

Overseas, the film made Rs 89 crore in week 1 and Rs 119.25 crore by the end of week 2. Week 3 added about Rs 10.25 crore, taking the overseas gross to Rs 129.50 crore by Day 21. Week 4 has slowed considerably, with daily overseas numbers between Rs 0.15 crore and Rs 0.75 crore. Day 27 added Rs 0.15 crore, leaving the overseas gross at Rs 131.90 crore.

Combined with the India gross, the worldwide total stood at Rs 577.56 crore at last tally. With the Day 28 India gross moving to Rs 445.90 crore, the global number is set to rise only when the final Day 28 figures are reported.

The film in brief

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is the final chapter in the Hindi adaptation of the celebrated crime saga. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the story picks up years after the previous instalment: Vijay Salgaonkar, played by Ajay Devgn, again has to protect his family when Meera Deshmukh, played by Tabu, resurfaces seeking vengeance rather than legal resolution, while a new Crime Branch officer scrutinises Vijay’s alibis.

The cast includes Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav, with Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj joining the investigative side. Before release, the CBFC cleared the film without a single cut, giving it a UA 16+ certificate and a locked runtime of 150 minutes.

What next milestones can the film target

  • Rs 375 crore India net: the domestic target is now close, with the film at Rs 372.30 crore net.
  • Rs 580 crore worldwide gross: the global total is closing in on this mark at Rs 577.56 crore.
  • Week five hold: whether it reaches those numbers depends on audience turnout, show availability and the size of the fifth-week release.
