Back in 2016, Aditya Dhar was planning a film titled Raat Baaki. The film was a love story, to be made with Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan. Karan Johar’s Dharma Production was to produce the film. However, the movie was put on hold due to political tension between India and Pakistan.
After the great success of Uri, Aditya has decided to revive that project with Yami and Pratik. Aditya Dhar has taken this decision, as it’s a script close to his heart. However, he will now be producing it with Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Films.
While as per the original plan, Aditya was to direct the movie, it will now be directed by someone else. Since he is currently working on Ashwatthama, Aditya opted to just revive the project. A new cast and director is being considered because the picture is to be produced on a large scale.
Recently, there were two films with similar names, “Raat Baki Hai” and “Raat Akeli Hai”. Since the producers want to portray it as a novel subject, this film will now be given a new title. Soon, there will be an official announcement with the title, cast, and crew.
