The reason behind Sanjay’s denying to work for Draupadi was the film Gangubai. This film as well as the film Baiju Bawra is said to be Sanjay’s all-time dream.
Hence, he refused to direct Draupadi. However, as of now both are busy with their other projects and hope to see them again on the same board soon.
