Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has tested positive for Covid-19. And now, as per reports, Deepika’s father has tested positive. The Bollywood diva is now in Bangalore with her family.
Earlier, Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone was hospitalized after having fever. He has been recovering from the virus at a hospital in Bengaluru. A close friend of Prakash wrote, “Around 10 days back, Prakash, his wife (Ujjala) and second daughter (Anisha), they developed symptoms and got themselves tested and the results came out to be positive.
He further said, “They got themselves isolated but after a week Prakash’s fever didn’t come down, so last Saturday, he was admitted to a hospital here in Bengaluru. He is okay now. All his parameters are fine, his wife and daughter are at home and he too will be hopefully discharged in 2-3 days,”
On the work front, Deepika Padukone has some exciting projects in her kitty. The actress will be seen in the Sports drama ‘83’ with Singh. Ranveer will be portraying the role of An Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev, whereas Deepika will be playing his wife Romi Dev. The actress has wrapped up the shooting of Shakun Batra’s to be titled film with Siddhant Chaturvedi. Deepika also has Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan. She will also be seen in Hrithik Roshan’s film and another with Prabhas.
Prakash Padukone is known as one of the most popular Indian badminton player. He became the first Indian to win the All England Open Badminton Championship. Earlier, he was awarded the Arjuna award in 1972 and the Padma Shri in 1982 by the government.
