On August 20, 2022, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja gave birth to a child in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The couple released a joint statement on their social media accounts announcing the birth of their child, which read as follows: “On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and hearts. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, friends, and family who have supported us on this journey. It’s only the beginning but we know our lives are forever changed. – Sonam and Anand.”
Anil Kapoor, Sonam’s father, and a well-known Bollywood actor is now ecstatic to be a grandfather. He expressed his excitement by saying: “Nothing can be better than this feeling. I would like to say my dialogue (from Dil Dhadakne Do) – ‘I feel on top of the world.” When you ask the actor, who is still working on a number of projects, if he has enough time to spend with his grandson at home, he replies, “Well, I am busy wrapping up my assignments. There’s Sunita (his wife), Sonam, and Anand, who is looking after the baby. I am always there by his side. It is great to see him every day. He’s so small right now, let him grow up a bit.”
On May 8, 2018, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja exchanged vows. The actress from Neerja revealed her pregnancy on social media in March and posted images from her maternity photoshoot with Anand.
Sonam will next be seen in Blind, which also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey, on the job front. It is a remake of the same named 2011 Korean movie. In contrast, Anil will appear in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, in which Ranbir Kapoor also stars, in Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, and in No Entry Mein Entry.
