Drishyam, which was released in 2015, was a blockbuster hit. Now, Ajay Devgn has kickstarted the shooting of the much-awaited Drishyam 2. The actor shared a photograph on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Ajay Devgn shared a snap with his co-star Shriya Saran and filmmaker Abhishek Pathak. Sharing a snap from the sets, the actor wrote, “Can Vijay protect his family again? #Drishyam2 shoot begins. @tabutiful @shriya_saran1109 @abhishekpathakk @kumarmangatpathak.”
Shriya Saran and Abhishek Pathak too shared the same photograph with the same caption on their respective official Instagram handle.
Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran who also starred in Drishyam will be reprising their roles of Vijay Salgaonkar and Nandini Salgaonkar respectively. The film will also star Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta.
Talking about the movie, Ajay said that he is elated to be a part of Drishyam 2. The actor added, “I am now elated to present yet another interesting story with Drishyam 2. Vijay is a multidimensional character and he creates an engaging narrative onscreen.”
Besides this, Ajay Devgn will soon be seen in the upcoming psychological drama Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. The actor also has a couple of films namely, Gobar, Gabgubai Kaithiawadi, Maidan, Thank God among others.
