5 Times Radhikka Madan Proved She’s One of Bollywood’s Most Versatile Actors
In an industry where actors often get typecast, Radhikka Madan has built a name that refuses to be boxed in. From playing the fiercely rebellious sister in Pataakha to going fearless and full-throttle in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, and then slipping into the shoes of an ambitious 17-year-old in Angrezi Medium, Radhikka has proved that she is not here to play it safe. She is easily one of the most versatile actors of her generation, and clearly in it for the long run.
Here are five of her performances we absolutely loved watching!
Champa Kumari in Pataakha
In Vishal Bhardwaj’s film Pataakha, Radhikka played Champa Kumari, one half of a constantly warring sister duo. Loud, impulsive, stubborn, and deeply emotional, Champa was not an easy character to pull off. Radhikka embraced the dialect and the chaos of the role with sheer conviction and was praised for her performance.

Supriya “Supri” in Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota
In this quirky action-comedy, Radhikka stepped into a completely different zone as Supriya, also known as Supri. Strong, sharp, and physically agile, she matched the film’s eccentric tone with ease. What stood out was her action performance, for which she trained hard and performed high-energy sequences that required both physical strength and comic timing.

Tarika Bansal in Angrezi Medium
Sharing screen space with the late Irrfan Khan is no small feat, but Radhikka more than held her ground as Tarika Bansal, a bright, ambitious teenager dreaming of studying abroad. She captured the innocence and impatience of a 17-year-old with honesty. She carried the role well throughout the film, especially in the quieter father-daughter moments.

Aditi Nath in Kacchey Limbu
In Kacchey Limbu, Radhikka played Aditi Nath, a young woman navigating sibling rivalry and her own sense of identity through cricket. It was a subtle, slice-of-life performance, far removed from loud drama or high-stakes conflict. The performance relied heavily on internal emotion rather than dramatic outbursts, and Radhikka handled it with maturity.
Rani in Sarfira
In Sarfira, Radhikka played Rani, the fiery, independent, and supportive wife of Akshay Kumar’s character. As a Maharashtrian woman, her role blends traditional warmth with modern ambition, requiring her to master a specific dialect and body language, and her chemistry with Akshay was quite appreciated.
Adivi Sesh Seeks Blessings at Bhadrakali Temple Ahead of April Release of Dacoit
Actor Adivi Sesh has officially kick-started promotions for his upcoming film Dacoit with the launch of its first song, Rubaroo, which released today. The romantic track, picturised on Sesh and co-star Mrunal Thakur, marks the beginning of the film’s promotional campaign as the team gears up for its theatrical release in April.
Directed by Shaniel Deo, Dacoit also stars Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal antagonist role. The film brings together an intense narrative with emotional depth, and Rubaroo offers audiences their first glimpse into the layered relationship between the lead characters through the lens of a romantic track.
Known for being deeply involved in his projects beyond acting, Sesh has also co-written the script of Dacoit. With Rubaroo, the team is setting the tone for the film’s emotional core while gradually unveiling its larger world in the coming weeks.
Ahead of the song launch and as the film enters its promotional phase, Sesh visited the revered Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal to seek blessings for the journey ahead. The visit comes as the team prepares for a steady build-up to the April release.
Speaking about the moment, Adivi Sesh said, “Every film begins long before the cameras roll. Dacoit has been a very personal journey for me, especially because I’ve been involved with the script from the start. Rubaroo is special because it captures the emotional heartbeat of the film , the vulnerability, the connection, and the quiet intensity between these characters. Launching promotions with this song felt right. Before we begin sharing this story with audiences, I wanted to take a moment to seek blessings and gratitude. We’ve poured a lot into this film, and I’m looking forward to everyone experiencing it in April.”
“I don’t like the idea of dressing to fit into a box or to please the moment. I style myself because it feels natural, it feels fun,” says Gulshan Devaiah
Beyond his critically acclaimed performances, Gulshan Devaiah has quietly emerged as one of the most distinctive and original style voices in the industry, long before personal branding through fashion became the norm. With over 15 years in cinema, Gulshan is among the rare actors who has consistently styled himself throughout the major part of his career. A graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), he firmly belongs to the fashion fraternity and has always trusted instinct over trends, logos, or brand-driven aesthetics.
Known for his quirky, unconventional, and out-of-the-box fashion choices, Gulshan’s style is deeply personal, authentic, lived-in, and reflective of who he is, rather than what the industry expects. In an era where most actors rely on teams of stylists to curate every appearance, Gulshan continues to take complete ownership of how he presents himself, seamlessly blending his formal fashion education with creative independence.
In an industry where there is growing pressure to constantly churn out “memorable looks,” keep pace with ever-changing fashion fads, and invest heavily in high-budget styling, Gulshan stands apart. His education in fashion gives him a rare, informed perspective, one that values expression over excess and originality over spectacle. Rather than dressing for virality or momentary trends, he approaches fashion as a language of selfhood, proving that a strong personal voice doesn’t require extravagance, only clarity and conviction.
Talking about his approach, Gulshan Devaiah shares, “Fashion came into my life much before acting did. I studied fashion at NIFT, so for me, clothing has always been about individuality rather than chasing trends. I’ve never been comfortable with the idea of dressing to fit into a box or to please the moment. I style myself because it feels natural, I know what I like, what I’m comfortable in, and how I want to express myself. Trends come and go, brands rise and fall, but personal style evolves with life and experience. I enjoy experimenting, being quirky, because that’s part of the process. As long as it feels honest , fun and true to who I am, I’m happy.”
Much like the characters he chooses to portray on screen, Gulshan Devaiah’s fashion philosophy is fearless, non-conformist, and deeply rooted in self-expression.
Twinkle Khanna to Priyanka Chopra to Aisha Sharma: Celebrities who joined the author league
There was a time when a celebrity book meant a quick memoir or a few headline-making excerpts. Now, it means something more intentional.
Actors and public figures are increasingly turning to writing not for headlines, but for depth. The page offers control. It offers reflection. And audiences today are far more open to seeing a different side of the stars they follow.
One of the earliest and most successful transitions in India came from Twinkle Khanna. Her debut Mrs Funnybones became a bestseller, followed by The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad and Pyjamas Are Forgiving. What worked was her voice – sharp, witty and unapologetically honest. She didn’t just publish books; she built a parallel identity as a writer.
Actor and author Soha Ali Khan also carved her space with her memoir The Perils of Being Moderately Famous. Wry, self-aware and deeply personal, the book offered an insider’s view of growing up in a celebrated family while navigating her own journey. It resonated for its honesty and humour.
On the international front, Matthew McConaughey surprised many with Greenlights. Part memoir, part philosophy, Greenlights blended personal stories with life lessons in a way that felt reflective rather than promotional. It became a global bestseller, reinforcing that audiences are willing to engage with long-form storytelling when it feels authentic.
Earlier, globally positioned yet rooted in India, Priyanka Chopra Jonas added her own chapter with the memoir Unfinished. In it, she spoke about ambition, migration, setbacks and identity, shaping her narrative in her own words rather than through tabloid lenses.
Now, actor and digital voice Aisha Sharma is stepping into this evolving space with her debut book Bloom, published by Penguin Random House India.
Over the years, Aisha has cultivated a community that connects deeply with her reflective posts and personal insights. Unlike headline-driven memoirs, Bloom leans inward – a collection of meditative reflections centred on strength, softness and self-awareness.
In an industry that constantly demands visibility, choosing to write is, in many ways, an act of slowing down. With this debut, Aisha Sharma joins a growing list of names proving that storytelling doesn’t end with the screen. Sometimes, it truly begins on the page.
“It felt divine”: Poonam Pandey on meeting Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan!
Actor-model Poonam Pandey recently visited Vrindavan where she attended Premanand Maharaj’s satsang at his ashram . Poonam spoke about the profound impact of her spiritual trip rooted in devotion, inner transformation and peace.
Reflecting on her long-standing connection with the spiritual leader’s teachings, Poonam shared, “I have always watched Premanand Maharaj ji’s satsang with my mother. Listening to his words have brought a sense of calm and clarity into our home. But meeting him in Vrindavan truly felt like stepping into something divine.”
The visit became even more personal when one of her questions was selected during Maharaj ji’s Sabha. However, due to his health, he was unable to respond that day. Yet, for Poonam, the experience remained complete in itself. “During his Sabha, one of my questions was selected. However, due to his health, he wasn’t able to respond. But I was not disappointed.” Her words reflected a sense of acceptance and faith that transcended the need for verbal answers.
Describing the spiritual aura of the gathering, she added, “When Maharaj ji speaks, it feels as though God has chosen a voice to deliver a message. There is a certain purity and surrender that touches something very personal within you. You don’t just hear him, you feel him.”
“Vrindavan itself carries an energy that is impossible to ignore. There, you don’t greet people with ‘Namaste.’ You say ‘Radhe Radhe,’ and that carries a completely different vibration. The atmosphere feels sacred, and time seems to slow down,” she adds.
Deeply moved by the visit, Poonam revealed that this spiritual journey is far from over. “I’m going back to Vrindavan this April with my mother, not just seeking answers to questions, but longing for that feeling once again.”

Our partnership with OpenAI will allow viewers to discover, engage with, and even curate content simply using their voice. This is a fundamental reimagining of the entertainment experience; one that anticipates culture and feels deeply personal to every viewer”
“Traditionally, entertainment is a one-way experience where you passively consume content – AI completely changes that dynamic.” said Fidji Simo, CEO, Applications, OpenAI. “Through our partnership with JioHotstar, we’re bringing personalized AI directly into entertainment and live sports, turning every moment into an opportunity for deeper engagement. Viewers can move seamlessly from watching to asking, from curiosity to context, and from exploration to recommendation in ways that feel natural, personal, and immediately useful.”
Whether a user says, “My parents are visiting, suggest something we can all watch together,” or “We are twins and only watch movies about identical twins,” the intelligent assistant interprets cultural nuance, situational context and layered prompts to deliver meaningful suggestions. Users will also be able to enhance their experience of live sports on JioHotstar with conversational discovery of key moments, scores, player highlights and anything else they’d like to know.
The rollout will span both live and on-demand formats, beginning with select experiences and expanding in phases.
Beyond the in-app experience, JioHotstar and OpenAI will introduce new experiences within ChatGPT, extending entertainment discovery beyond JioHotstar. Users who turn to ChatGPT for entertainment-related queries will receive contextual recommendations and relevant streaming links from JioHotstar’s vast catalogue, making the partnership a true two-way integration.
