It is now official! Anant Ambani is getting married to Radhika Merchant.
Radhika Merchant, daughter of Shaila and Viren Merchant, and Anant Ambani, son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, were married today at the Shrinathji Temple in NathDwara, Rajasthan, in the company of family and friends and sanctified by temple priests. The young couple spent the day at the temple seeking Lord Shrinathji’s blessings for their future marriage and taking part in the temple’s customary Raj-bhog-shringaar rites. Later today, family and friends will gather to celebrate the wonderful occasion.
Anant and Radhika have known one other for a few years, and today’s ceremony marks the beginning of the formal road that will lead to their marriage in the coming months. Both families ask for everyone’s prayers and well wishes for Radhika and Anant as they embark on their adventure together.
Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries, and Nita Ambani. He completed his schooling at Brown University in the United States and has worked in various capacities for Reliance Industries. He was designated the head of RIL’s energy business in August of this year.
Radhika Merchant is the daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare, and Shaila Merchant. Anjali Merchant is her younger sister. Radhika attended Cathedral and John Connon Schools in Mumbai, as well as École Mondiale World School. She graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in politics and economics. She is a member of the Encore Healthcare Board of Directors.
Anant Ambani graduated from Brown University in the United States and has subsequently worked for Reliance Industries in a variety of positions, including serving on the boards of Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail Ventures. He presently oversees RIL’s energy division. Radhika is a New York University graduate and a member of the Encore Healthcare Board of Directors.
