Fans of Pan-India star Prithviraj Sukumaran have been waiting with bated breath for his highly anticipated next titled ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’. A high-octane action thriller, helmed by the visionary filmmaker Prashanth Neel, the film promises to be a cinematic spectacle offering a gripping storyline, powerful performances and larger-than-life visuals. Co-starring Prabhas in the lead along with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju, the magnum opus is produced by Vijay Kiragandur. Known for distributing some of the biggest films in the past such as ‘KGF 2’, ‘83’ ‘Kantara’ and more, Prithviraj Sukumaran who’s also acting in the film is all set to distribute this one as well.
While expectations from the film are at an all-time high, another significant update has emerged about the project, which sure will leave the cinephiles excited. Essaying the role of Vardharaja Mannaar, Prithviraj Sukumaran has now also stepped in to distribute the much-awaited film in Kerala under his Production Prithviraj Production with his wife Supriya Menon, who co-owns the production house.
With ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’, Prithviraj Sukumaran aims to enrich the cinematic landscape of Kerala, reinforcing his dedication to bringing the best of Indian cinema to the region. In the past, the actor-filmmaker has also distributed other projects of Hombale Films including ‘KGF 2’ and ‘Kantara’ along with 83’, which all turned out to be big hits.
Backed by Hombale Films, ’Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’ is slated for release on 22 December 2023.
