Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives is a reality show that airs in India. The show follows the personal and professional lives of Bollywood actors Samir Soni, Sanjay Kapoor, Chunky Pandey, and Sohail Khan’s wives, Neelam Kothari, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey, and Seema Khan respectively. Netflix will premiere the series on November 27, 2020. On November 13, 2020, the series’ trailer was released.
In 2018, the concept for a reality show akin to Keeping Up with the Kardashians arose. “Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Seema Khan, and Bhavana Pandey feature in this half-baked reality program that doesn’t have enough drama or wit to retain your attention,” The Hindu’s Debasree Purkayastha wrote. “Fabulous Lives fulfills the voyeuristic need of watching individuals unlike us in action, but is devoid of the drama that we have come to associate with reality television,” stated Devki Nehra of Firstpost.
India Today’s Jyoti Knayal added “Netflix’s latest cringefest is The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. You’ll despise it, but you’ll probably watch it anyhow “.. “Fabulous Life Of Bollywood Wives Review: It does not offer any relevant views into the lives of the actors and their families in an exacting, merciless movie industry where those with the appropriate surnames are like cats,” said Saibal Chatterjee of NDTV.
