    Govinda, Karisma Kapoor, Tabu, Kader Khan, and Satish Kaushik star in Saajan Chale Sasural, a 1996 Hindi-language romantic comedy film. David Dhawan directed the film. It is a remake of the Telugu film Allari Mogudu and the Bangladeshi film Asha Bhalobasha, which was released in 1995. New Délire, a French dubbing spoof of this film, was released in 2007. Nadeem-Shravan composed the music for this film. Mansoor Siddiqui produced the film under the company Anas Films Pvt. Ltd.

Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Poornima, Vinod Rathod, Kunal Ganjawala, and Satyanarayan Mishra are among the singers that contributed to the album.

As he returns to the hamlet to collect his debts, he learns devastating news of his wife Pooja’s (Karisma Kapoor) death in a flood. He later marries Divya, Khurana’s daughter (Tabu).
