Bollywood journalist Rajeev Masand is critical in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after tested positive for coronavirus. He is critical after his oxygen level went down. As per reports, Rajeev was on ventilator support. One of his colleague Somen Mishra confirmed that he is critical but not on a ventilator.
Several Bollywood celebrities including Swara Bhasker, Bipasha Basu, Dia Mirza, Sophie C and Suniel Shetty took to their social media and wrote speedy recovery for the journalist.

Rajeev Masand is known as one of the famous Indian film critic, also a writer. He wrote for an entertainment-industry columnist for several publications, such as Open Magazine, Firstpost, News18, The Quint and for his own website. He also worked for Noida based English language news channel CNN Indian broadcasting. Later, Rajeev was seen as an anchor for the most popular show ‘Now Showing’. The journalist reviews movies of different genre. He had quitted journalism last year and had joined Karan Johar’s talent management agency, Dharma Cornerstone Agency.
Last year in January, a statement was released by Karan Johar’s talent management company that reads, “After over two decades of a dynamic career as an astute journalist and renowned film critic, Rajeev Masand now steps in as the COO at Dharma Productions.”
The new coronavirus infections has a slight dip in cases and 3,417 related deaths in the last 24 hours, informed the Union health ministry on Monday morning. The cumulative count of the cases has gone up to 1,99,25,604.
