Nayyi Navelli is holding at ₹29.06 crore worldwide gross as its first-week numbers settle, though Day 8 collections were still to be reported at the time of writing. The comedy family horror, directed by Balaji Mohan, has reached ₹22.15 crore India net and ₹26.31 crore India gross, with ₹2.75 crore from overseas, according to Sacnilk.
What the numbers say
The film’s opening three days had already brought ₹11.65 crore India net and ₹15.88 crore worldwide gross. Despite mixed critical reviews and direct competition from Rajkummar Rao’s Prahaar, the weekend saw daily growth, giving Yami Gautam Dhar another encouraging theatrical response.

- Overseas gross: ₹2.75 crore
- Worldwide gross: ₹29.06 crore
Why the hold matters
For a mid-tier Hindi release, the post-Dussehra weekday is often where momentum is confirmed or lost. Nayyi Navelli’s first-weekend trajectory suggests family audiences kept turning up across the holiday; the next test is whether the film can keep adding shows once festivities wind down.
Yami Gautam Dhar thanked audiences for making the film part of their Dussehra celebrations. “There is something truly special about celebrating Dussehra with a film that brings families together in cinemas,” she said, adding that she hoped the blend of laughter, surprises and supernatural entertainment would continue drawing families to theatres.
What to watch next
Advance sales for Day 9, Saturday 24 October, stood at 13,777 tickets across 1,157 shows, worth ₹38.29 lakh gross as of 1:00 AM IST on 23 October. Day 8 occupancy will firm up as shows start, offering the first real sign of whether the family pitch still has legs against Prahaar.
