Mrinal Dutt, who was previously seen in popular TV series, Private Investigator, is now all set to explore the online content space with Goldie Behl and Applause Entertainment’s digital series, Marry Me, Stranger.
Marry Me, Stranger is based on the first book of Novoneel Chakraborty’s stranger trilogy and also stars Anuja Joshi, Gaurav Chopra, and Priya Banerjee. The series, which is being directed by Faruk Kabir is a romantic thriller, which revolves around the story of a woman and her pursuer. The series will have three seasons, and Dutt will be a part of all seasons.
When asked about his role, Mrinal said, “I am very excited to be a part of this project. I play the role of Danny Abraham and the makers of the series have given a unique spin to the character, making it quite different from what is there in the book, adding a lot of mystery and layers to the role.” Apart from Marry Me, Stranger, Mrinal will also be seen in an Independent film based on a road trip, which is being shot in Australia.
So now that he has already made a mark in the world of television and successfully forayed into webspace, what’s the next step for the talented actor? “I hope I get to keep doing exciting work, where I can immerse myself fully and get to live different lives. That’s the dream”, says Mrinal.
