    Brendan Fraser: All you must know about this Hollywood actor

    Brendan Fraser is a Canadian-born actor who was reared in the United States. He played Rick O’Connell in The Mummy trilogy (2010) and starred in other humorous and fantasy films, including Airheads (1994), Dudley Do-Right (1999), Monkeybone (2001), Inkheart, and Furry Vengeance (2010).

    Fraser first appeared in a dramatic film in 1995, with roles in The Passion of Darkly Noon, Mrs Winterbourne, Journey to the End of the Night (2006), and Gimme Shelter (2013).

    Following a hiatus from film acting, Fraser made brief cameos in the History miniseries Texas Rising (2015), the Showtime drama series The Affair, the FX anthology series Trust (2018), and the DC Universe / HBO Max action series Doom Patrol.

    Fraser made his film debut in 1991 with Dogfight, in which he played a sailor on his way to Vietnam. He played a frozen prehistoric caveman in the 1992 comedy film Encino Man, which was his first notable role.

    The film was a modest box office success and is now considered a cult classic. In the same year, he starred alongside Matt Damon and Chris O’Donnell in the film School Ties. He co-starred with Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi in The Scout and Montgomery ‘Monty’ Kessler in With Honors in 1994, as well as Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi in Airheads.

    In 1997, he had his first major box office success with George of the Jungle, a comedy based on Jay Ward’s animated series of the same name. His biggest commercial hits were the adventure fantasy film The Mummy (1999) and its sequel The Mummy Returns.
