Hanuman Ansh reaches Rs 450.68 cr worldwide

Seventy-five days after its Hindi release, Hanuman Ansh has reached Rs 450.68 crore in worldwide gross. The Vishal Chaturvedi-directed spiritual drama added Rs 0.62 crore across languages on Tuesday, October 20, according to Sacnilk — a 121.4% rise over Monday’s Rs 28 lakh.

The film follows Lakshmi Narayan, a boy in pre-Independence India who loses his mother and leaves home in search of God, a path that leads him toward Neem Karoli Baba. It stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand, with Anil Rastogi, Purnima Tiwwari, Sugandha Malhotra, Bhagvandas Patel and Neha Paranjpe in supporting roles.

A weekday bump after a choppy weekend

The Tuesday uptick followed an uneven 11th-weekend. The film collected Rs 15 lakh on Friday, Rs 26 lakh on Saturday, Rs 46 lakh on Sunday and Rs 28 lakh on Monday. On day 75, the Hindi version contributed Rs 0.61 crore from 483 shows at 33% occupancy; the Telugu version added Rs 1 lakh from seven shows at 34%. The day recorded 28,430 footfalls.

  • Day 71 (Friday): Rs 15 lakh
  • Day 72 (Saturday): Rs 26 lakh
  • Day 73 (Sunday): Rs 46 lakh
  • Day 74 (Monday): Rs 28 lakh
  • Day 75 (Tuesday): Rs 62 lakh

A delayed breakout, not a frontloaded opening

The weekly numbers give the milestone its meaning. Week one earned Rs 1.08 crore and week two just Rs 40 lakh. The film then found its audience: Rs 10.40 crore in week three, Rs 61 crore in week four, Rs 90.25 crore in week five, Rs 80.25 crore in week six and Rs 44.80 crore in week seven.

Since then, the run has cooled without collapsing. Week eight brought Rs 29.20 crore, week nine Rs 10.60 crore, and week ten Rs 11 crore. For readers who track Hindi cinema as a record, this is a long tail built after a slow start.

Why the total matters

The India net collection now stands at Rs 340.75 crore, the India gross at Rs 402.08 crore, and the overseas gross at Rs 48.60 crore. Because the producers have positioned Hanuman Ansh as the first part of a trilogy inspired by Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, the sequels now have a commercial benchmark to defend.

The Hindi version released in India on August 7, 2026; the Telugu version followed on October 9, 2026. The next test is whether the Telugu run can widen the audience beyond the Hindi core that is still carrying nearly all of the latest collections. Box-office figures remain approximate until official studio data is updated.
