Hanuman Ansh worldwide gross hits ₹425.52 cr on day 61

On day 61, Hanuman Ansh added ₹1.00 crore net in India across 1,570 shows, taking its India net total to ₹326.48 crore. The same day’s overseas collection of ₹0.10 crore pushes the worldwide gross to ₹425.52 crore, according to Sacnilk’s box office tracker.

That keeps the small-budget devotional drama in the news long after most Hindi releases have left theatres.

Day 61 by the numbers

The all-language figures show the film has reached ₹385.62 crore in India gross, ₹326.48 crore in India net and ₹39.90 crore in overseas gross. State-wise occupancy data is not available, so the day’s show count of 1,570 is the clearest public indication of the film’s current footprint.

  • Day 61 India net: ₹1.00 crore
  • Total India net: ₹326.48 crore
  • Total India gross: ₹385.62 crore
  • Overseas and worldwide gross: ₹39.90 crore / ₹425.52 crore

Sacnilk has described the run as one of the most extraordinary of the year. That claim sits next to a seventh-week total of ₹44.95 crore and an eighth-week total of ₹29 crore, so the film has not simply padded its total in small increments.

A ₹2 crore release with a blockbuster tail

The economics are the story. Made on a budget of roughly ₹2 crore, Hanuman Ansh opened on about 250 screens and was cut to around 40 screens in its second week. On day 61, it was back on 1,570 shows. That reversal is unusual, and it suggests demand has re-expanded the release rather than the other way around.

Written, directed and produced by Dr Vishal Chaturvedi, the spiritual drama stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Vihaan Shedge. Its Telugu version is now preparing for a theatrical arrival, according to the same report, which means the Hindi run has opened a second-language window rather than closing the campaign. The next test is whether that Telugu release widens the audience without splitting attention from the Hindi circuit.

Why the long tail matters

For the Hindi film trade, a ₹1 crore day on day 61 is not about the daily number; it is about what the number represents. The film’s worldwide gross is more than 200 times its reported budget. More usefully, the run shows how a devotional title with a modest opening can become a cultural event when audiences keep it in cinemas over successive weekends.

No state-wise split is available, so final-circuit conclusions should wait. But the aggregate is already a benchmark for small-budget Hindi cinema: a film that was nearly written off in its second week has kept collecting for nine weekends.
