Hanuman Ansh Hits Rs 451 Cr Worldwide in Extended Run

Vishal Chaturvedi's devotional drama crosses Rs 451 cr global gross in its 11th week; India net at Rs 341.04 cr as daily holds soften.

Hanuman Ansh reaches Rs 451 cr worldwide gross

Vishal Chaturvedi’s devotional biographical drama Hanuman Ansh has passed Rs 451 crore in worldwide gross collections after 77 days, according to trade data compiled by Sacnilk. The Hindi version opened on August 7, 2026, and a Telugu version arrived on October 9, extending the release into a longer theatrical tail.

India net collections now stand at Rs 341.04 crore. Domestic gross is Rs 402.40 crore, while overseas markets have added Rs 48.60 crore. On Wednesday, October 21, the film collected Rs 29 lakh across 465 shows at 17.2 percent occupancy, a slowdown after Tuesday’s Rs 0.62 crore.

A week-wise release that defied the opening-day frame

The most instructive part of the run is the weekly curve. Hanuman Ansh did not arrive as a front-loaded event:

  • Weeks 1 and 2: Rs 1.08 crore and Rs 0.40 crore, a slow start and a dip.
  • Weeks 3 to 5: Rs 10.40 crore, Rs 61 crore, then a peak of Rs 90.25 crore.
  • Weeks 6 to 10: Rs 80.25 crore, Rs 44.80 crore, Rs 29.20 crore, Rs 10.60 crore and Rs 11 crore.

Week five’s Rs 90.25 crore was higher than the first four weeks combined. That is a late-breaking, word-of-mouth run rather than a pre-sold franchise opening. For a devotional drama about Neem Karoli Baba, the pattern suggests that the audience arrived once the film’s spiritual register had time to travel among communities.

What matters now

The latest daily figures show the run cooling. In the 11th week, the film has swung between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 62 lakh a day, and Wednesday’s Rs 29 lakh landed below Tuesday. That is typical for late-leg play, but it means the headline total will grow slowly unless the Telugu release gives the film a fresh push.

The cast and creative context are part of the film’s memory record. Shobhinaw Satyaa plays Lakshminarayan Sharma, who becomes Neem Karoli Baba; Vihaan Shedge and Rudra Sen portray Baba at ages 14 and five. Chandan Anand and Hunny Bakshi appear in supporting roles. The film is written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi.

For readers tracking the economics, the number to keep watching is not the Rs 451 crore milestone. It is whether the October 9 Telugu leg can lift daily averages in the coming days, and whether studio data revises the Sacnilk estimate as international markets finalise.
