Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as SRK, is an Indian actor, film producer, and television personality best known for his work in Hindi cinema. He was born on November 2, 1965. He has been nicknamed the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’ (in reference to his 1999 film Baadshah), the “King of Bollywood,” and “King Khan” by the media. He has acted in over 80 films and received numerous awards, including 14 Filmfare Awards.
He has been awarded the Padma Shri by the Indian government, as well as the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Legion of Honour by the French government. In 1992, he made his Bollywood debut with Deewana.
