There is a winner in the first season of India’s Best Dancer, a dancing reality show. Tiger Pop (Ajay Singh) of Gurugram won the glittering finale on November 22, 2020, taking home prize money of Rs 15 lakhs. Tiger Pop, who is known for his unusual ‘pop style’ dance routines, said on the show that it was his mother’s ambition to see him achieve such a milestone.
Tiger won the prize over four other finalists. Mukul Gain, Shweta Warrier, Paramdeep Singh, and Shubranil Paul are among the names mentioned as a finalist. Tiger received the most votes, with Mukul and Shweta coming in second and third, respectively. Malaika Arora, choreographers Geeta Kapoor and Terence Lewis, and performer Nora Fatehi were the four judges for India’s Best Dancer.
Malaika and Terence both put on a show in the final episode. The host, Krushna Abhishek, was full of jokes and banter. Tiger was delighted to have won the competition. “I am beyond happy to have won the coveted title of India’s Best Dancer,” he said, according to the Times of India. He also thanked the judges for keeping everyone on track and serving as role models.
