Superbabies 2 (also known as Baby Geniuses 2: Superbabies or just Baby Geniuses 2) is a 2004 American family comedy film produced by Bob Clark and written by Gregory Poppen based on a scenario by Steven Paul.
Jon Voight, Scott Baio, and Vanessa Angel feature in this sequel to the 1999 film Baby Geniuses. Following the events of the first film, four newborns can speak with one another using baby language and possess a wealth of information.
The infant geniuses become entangled in a kidnapping scheme orchestrated by media billionaire Bill Biscane, eventually revealed to be known as Kane. A legendary super-baby named Kahuna assists the geniuses by foiling Biscane’s machinations and saving youngsters from being kidnapped by Biscane and his minions.
He joins up with numerous other babies in an attempt to stop Biscane from using a cutting-edge satellite system to brainwash the world’s population and force them to stay inactive and watch TV for the rest of their lives.
Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 received unanimous acclaim from reviewers and audiences alike, and is widely recognized as one of the worst films of all time. It was also a box office disaster, earning less than half of its budget and getting a nomination for Worst Picture at the 25th Golden Raspberry Awards. It was also the last picture directed by Bob Clark before his death in 2007.
