    Which are the top 5 series in the world?

    As a significant area of India remains under curfew and reels from the pandemic’s stress, it’s important that we take a break now and again, and what better way to unwind than by watching a bunch of wonderful TV shows? We recently compiled a list of the Top 5 TV shows and web series according to IMDb, and now it’s time to turn our attention to the greatest international shows.

    1.   Band of Brothers

    This miniseries, which was created by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg and aired for 10 episodes in 2001, is still regarded as one of the best TV shows of all time. The series is set during World War II and follows a group of American troops.

    This HBO limited series recounted the events of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear tragedy and the Soviet Union’s response. The five-episode series, developed by Craig Mazin, was commended for its research, however, many USSR supporters claimed that the show was created with American propaganda in mind.

    The Wire is a legendary television show that has consistently ranked at the top of any ‘Best TV shows’ list in 2021. The Wire, which premiered in 2002 and ran for five seasons, is still regarded as the peak of criminal drama television, inspiring scores of imitators.

    The animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender is widely recognized as one of the best of all time. The show is based on the idea that those who can control all four elements – water, earth, fire, and air – can bring peace to the world’s four nations. Aang, the current Avatar, is twelve years old and embarks on a journey to end the Fire Nation’s battle with the other nations.
