    Tejasswi Prakash to Rupali Ganguly, tv celebs mourn the demise of Bappi Lahiri

    Legendary music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri passed away on Tuesday night. The news of his demise left everyone shocked. Several TV celebs took to social media to pay heartfelt tribute for this irreplaceable loss

    Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash took to Instagram stories and shared a picture of Bappi Da and wrote, “Rest in peace Bappi Da! To the end of the era…We all grew up listening and grooving to your songs. You will forever be remembered. Om Shanti.”

    Describing his heart as gold, actor Ronit Roy offered his condolences too. He wrote: “DADAAA!!!! Tumi chole gale. You did not just wear gold. Your heart was also pure gold. RIP Dada! Condolences and strength to family. Rahe na rahe chahe tum, charche jahan main tumhare rahenge.”

    Actor Hiten Tejwani shared a photo with Bappi Lahiri and wrote: “May your soul rest in peace #bappilahri da…”

    Rupali Ganguly shared a picture with the veteran singer and wrote, “The Legend. The King of Music. My Kaka. So many memories of Childhood spent at your house! Pappa and you started from “Agreement” and went on to do so many films and evergreen songs. So many recordings, so many conversations, so much love, and warmth… You always singing Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re every time we met! Our conversations about Pappa Will miss you!! For me, an era has ended today.”

    Rupali Ganguly on Bappi Lahiri demise

    Sudhanshu Pandey also remembered Bappi Lahiri. He penned the lyrics from one of his compositions. The actor wrote: “CHALTE CHALTE MERE YE GEET YAAD RAKHNA, KABHI ALVIDA NA KEHNA .. THE ONE AND ONLY GOLDEN MAN OF MUSIC .. HIS MUSIC HAS BEEN ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC ..     Comedian Sugandha Mishra penned an emotional note. “R.I.P our loving n legendary Bappi Da @bappilahiri_official_ Apart from being a veteran Singer/ Musician.. he was a gem of a person.. great human being, kind soul, fun-loving..always encouraging and motivating… I still remember how I got a chance to meet him on my first TV show..11 years back (when I started my career) since then .. he was so kind.. always made me part of sp occasions n celebrations.. #ganpatifestival .. u are n will always be in our hearts dada.. love and strength to the family.. #prayers #legendsneverdie,” she added.

    Remembering the Disco King, Ekta Kapoor wrote, “U wore attitude on u sleeve! An icon!! Music lost its glitter today.

    Kapil Sharma tweeted in Hindi, “Chalte Chalte, mere ye geet yaad rakhna, kabhi alvida naa kehna. Aap hamesha yaad ayenge Bappi Da. Om Shanti.”

    Bappi Lahiri died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). His last rites will be performed on Thursday.
