    A Quiet Place

The Abbotts are striving to survive amid the remoteness of upstate New York, defined by a new era of complete stillness, in a shattered Earth overrun by indestructible predators of suspected extraterrestrial origin. Indeed, because this new sort of invader is attracted to noise, even the tiniest sound can be fatal; nonetheless, it’s been over a year since the fierce monsters first appeared, and this tenacious family is still standing strong.

Of course, in this muted dystopia, mastering the rules of survival is crucial; nevertheless, now, more than ever, an otherwise pleasant event jeopardizes the already fragile equilibrium. The Abbotts must not make a sound now more than ever.

A Quiet Place Part II, directed by Krasinski, was released on May 28, 2021, with Krasinski returning to the director’s chair and Cillian Murphy joining the main cast.
