After a three-year break, actor Shah Rukh Khan is returning to the big screen with Yash Raj Films’ Pathan. According to a tweet by film critic Umair Sandhu, SRK has become India’s highest-paid actor, with a raise in his remuneration fee. According to the tweet, Bollywood’s Badshah is charging a hefty Rs 100 crore for the film, which also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. With this, he has left Bollywood giants like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan in his wake. Officially King Khan is the ‘highest-paid actor’ in India now. For Pathan, he demanded a massive amount of 100 crores rupee. Earlier, King Khan used to charge 25 crores per movie. Over the last 25 years, he has starred in over 120 films and amassed a fortune of crores of rupees.
Helmed by Siddharth, Pathan’s shooting began in Mumbai in November 2020. Reportedly, Salman Khan will appear in a cameo role in the film, which is produced by Yash Raj Films. Shah Rukh Khan will play the protagonist, while John will portray an antagonist after a long time.
