Ranveer Singh has established himself as one of the most bankable names, and his market value is increasing with each passing picture. He received a whopping amount of Rs. 50 crore acting fee for his upcoming movie Cirkus, and his fees are projected to rise with the success of each subsequent movie. Not only this, but the actor has been outspoken about his antipathy to theatrical releases, and the reason for the increase in fees is that he is one of the few actors who can guarantee a certain level of return, even in these uncertain times, thanks to his expanding fame.
Cirkus is currently being shot in Mumbai in preparation for a winter 2021 release. With a charge of Rs. 50 crores, Ranveer would have shot for about 75 days, putting his daily acting fees at around Rs. 66 lakhs, making him one of the highest-paid actors in today’s time.
The actor is currently awaiting the release of a biographical sports drama film titled, ’83’ which also stars his wife, actress Deepika Padukone in the lead. Directed by Kabir Khan the film also stars Tahi Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Ammy Virk, Hardy Sandhu, Boman Irani, Jiiva, and others in prominent roles. Besides this, the actor also has Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in his pipeline. Earlier, Ranveer charged 20 crores per movie.
