Are apple products made in South Korea?

The company’s actual name is Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd., but Foxconn is its trade name. Apple‘s longest-running device-building partner is Foxconn. Although Foxconn has plants in nations around the world, including Thailand, Malaysia, the Czech Republic, South Korea, Singapore, and the Philippines, it now assembles the majority of Apple’s iPhones in Shenzen, China.

When it comes to figuring out where Apple makes its products, there are two crucial elements to keep in mind: assembling and manufacturing.

Manufacturing refers to the process of creating the iPhone’s components. Apple creates and sells the iPhone, but it does not make its components. Instead, Apple sources individual parts from suppliers all over the world. Camera specialists make the lens and camera equipment, whereas screen specialists construct the display, and so on.

Assembling, on the other hand, is the process of putting together all of the individual components created by specialised manufacturers into a finished, functional iPhone.

Because each iPhone contains hundreds of distinct components, it is impossible to list every manufacturer whose products can be found on the device. It’s also difficult to tell where those components are manufactured because one manufacturer may produce the identical component in multiple factories.

The components made by various companies all around the world are eventually assembled into iPods, iPhones, and iPads by only two companies. Foxconn and Pegatron, both based in Taiwan, are the corporations in question.
