    Vindu Dara Singh, an Indian cinema and television actor, was born on May 6, 1964. He is the winner of Bigg Boss 3’s third season. Prior to this, he portrayed Lord Hanuman in Sony TV’s Jai Veer Hanuman television series in 1996.

    Vindu made his acting debut in the Hindi film Karan, released in 1994. Then he appeared in his father’s Punjabi film Rab Dian Rakhan, which was released in 1996. He has since appeared in several films, generally in supporting roles.

    Dara Singh, a wrestler-turned-actor, was Vindu’s father. He married actress Farha Naaz and had a son with her; the couple later split, and he married model Dina Umarova, with whom he has a daughter. He was detained in May 2013 for having ties to bookies and being involved in the 2013 spot-fixing scam.
