What is Jennifer Aniston’s debut movie?

Jennifer Aniston is an American actress, producer, and businesswoman who made her film debut as an uncredited dancer in McDonald’s in the 1988 humorous science fiction film Mac and Me.

Stewart Raffill co-wrote and directed Mac and Me, a 1988 American humorous science fiction film. The film stars Christine Ebersole, Jonathan Ward, Tina Caspary, Lauren Stanley, and Jade Category as a ‘Mysterious Alien Creature’ (MAC) who eludes malevolent NASA operatives and befriends a wheelchair-using child named Eric Cruise. Eric and MAC work together to locate MAC’s family, from whom he has been estranged.

The film bombed at the box office and was widely derided by critics, owing to plot lines that were similar to those in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), as well as intricate commercial placement by McDonald’s and Coca-Cola.

The film received four Golden Raspberry Award nominations, including Worst Director and Worst New Star (for Ronald McDonald). It did, however, get four nominations for the Youth in Film Awards (now known as the Young Artist Awards). Despite being widely regarded as one of the worst films ever made, it has developed a cult following.

The film premiered in Hong Kong on August 5, 1988, and was released in the United States on August 12. It was a box office flop, grossing $6,424,112 in the United States on a $13 million budget. Ronald McDonald House Charities had a profit-sharing agreement with it.
