Yesterday, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha stole the show when they were photographed arriving in style in Delhi from the Mumbai airport. The pair is said to have gone for their engagement ceremony, which is scheduled for May 13 in Delhi, as previously reported. The couple has previously appeared together on a number of occasions, and although though they haven’t publicly acknowledged their relationship, it is obvious that they are getting married shortly.
We are aware of the intense interest around their engagement and wedding, and we now have knowledge of the actresses’ engagement attire.
A source close to the actress reportedly told India Today that Parineeti Chopra will wear a dress by well-known designer Manish Malhotra for her engagement to Raghav Chadha. Before the actress departed for Delhi yesterday, we were able to share a few pictures of her being photographed in front of Manish’s residence in Mumbai. Since then, rumours have circulated about her donning a Manish Malhotra dress for her special day. “After multiple visits to Manish Malhotra’s studio and his home, Parineeti has decided to wear his designed outfit for her big day. The outfit trials have been done for the engagement day,” revealed the source.
The actress, who dislikes hard effort, reportedly requested that the designer make it simple yet exquisite. She aimed to maintain a refined and understated appearance.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were recently pictured at the Mohali stadium during an IPL match between the Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians. The stadium audience went wild as they stared at the two as they stood side by side. The crowd can be heard yelling “Parineeti Bhabhi Zindabad” in the viral footage, making the actress flush. With wide smiles on their cheeks, Raghav and Parineeti can be seen waving at their admirers.
