Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee’s co-star in ‘Manmarziyaan’ took to Instagram and congratulated the actress on her film “Rashmi Rocket”. The actor highly praised Taapsee Pannu. Vicky also appreciated the entire team behind the film.
Recently, Taapsee spoke about her preparation for becoming an athlete. The actress said, “Yes, I did a lot of research at my level for ‘Rashmi Rocket’. This was in addition to the work going on at the scripting level. I had seen pictures and videos of a lot of Indian and international athletes. I paid special attention to their body language. Also, I wanted to refer to athletes who are of my build and height.”
Additionally, Taapsee Pannu said, “Of course, I have never seen my body in that kind of a shape. Therefore, you are in for a surprise when you try to get those bulging muscles. And how they look on you also matters.”
Nonetheless, Taapsee Pannu is playing a sprinter in “Rashmi Rocket”. Her character gets banned from the sport due to high testosterone levels. She challenges India’s athletics association and legally takes up the matter to win back her lost dignity.
During one of her discussions, Taapsee revealed that when the script of Rashmi Rocket came to her. “I was shocked that despite personally loving sports, I was unaware about gender testing. Upon search and found out this really happens to so many female athletes. They get banned and also end up destroying their life.”
