Expressing how she feels about the film receiving numerous awards already, Neha says, “It’s fascinating to witness “Joon” garner numerous international awards, signalling a breakthrough where language is no longer a barrier, gaining acceptance from global audiences. The recognition at prestigious film festivals in India boosts a film’s reputation before its release, generating excitement for audiences eagerly anticipating its debut. I’m thrilled to fulfil my childhood dream of becoming a Bollywood lead actor.”

Elaborating on her character after which the film is named, she says, “I play the character of Joon, a free-spirited girl who’s an adventurous sports instructor. Together with my father, we run a hill station resort. I believe in love and old-school romance, dreaming of a movie hero who will sweep me off my feet and marry me. To delve deeper into the concept, the writer and director, Barnali, who has an extraordinary perspective on love, will be the one to provide more insight into the narrative. The storyline of the film is how the right person meet at the wrong time it’s a sort of love triangle”

Sharing a special memory from the sets of the film, Neha says, “During a 3 am shoot after an afternoon scene in a chestnut forest, I indulged in 30-40 chestnuts. As a big foodie, I kept eating, but the raw chestnuts caused a motor-like noise in my stomach throughout the night scenes. Surprisingly, nobody reacted as they didn’t want to miss the lighting, so I continued enjoying chestnuts the next day.”
