Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel were a part of India’s most loved film “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha”. The film had a cross-border romantic tale that was liked by both viewers and critics. While the movie still remains in the viewers’ hearts, Sunny has recently hinted at an upcoming sequel.
Sunny Deol has dropped a new poster of the film today. The actor has sparked suspense as he has promised to share a special update on October 15.
Taking to his social media handle. the actor wrote, “Announcing something very special and close to my heart. Watch this space tomorrow at 11 AM (sic).”
In addition, Director Anil Sharma also shared a post on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Are you ready for the biggest announcement of the year? Watch this space tomorrow at 11 AM to find out (sic).”
While Gadar was set during the partition of India in 1947, its sequel will move ahead with the India-Pakistan angle. The cast of the film will remain unchanged. As per sources, “We have been working on Gadar sequel for 15 years. Gadar will show the story of Tara (Sunny Deol), Sakeena (Ameesha Patel), and Jeet (their son).”

Furthermore, it was revealed “The story will move ahead with India-Pakistan angle. Gadar is incomplete without it. We have discussed the idea with Sunny. We can’t disclose anything at the moment.”
Meanwhile, the movie Gadar also featured late actor Amrish Puri and Lillette Dubey in important roles. It is not yet revealed who will play their roles in Gadar 2.
