Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been introduced as the brand ambassador of the smartphone brand Redmi India, a sub-brand of Mi India. The actor will feature in the brand’s latest ‘More Power to You’ campaign that will promote its Redmi 9 power device.
Announcing the same, Redmi India took to its verified Twitter handle and wrote, “Now we call it #MowerowerMove! #Redmi India is proud to join forces for a good and welcoming @SonuSood in the team!”

Recently, Sonu Sood was also seen distributing Redmi smartphones to reduce students under the brand’s #Education initiative. With the onset of the epidemic, the education process has gone largely online, and to address the digital divide, Mi India teamed up with Sood to launch the #ShikshaHarHaath initiative.
Through this initiative, the brand plans to donate Redmi smartphones to thousands of students across the country. It encourages people who are in a position to work at Mi Centers to improve the future of children by donating their smartphones. The second hand phone will be refurbished before passing.
