Mission Majnu Films starring Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandana are running in Lucknow today. Supported by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and producers Amar Butala and Garima Mehta, the film is based on India’s most ambitious secret mission. The film is being directed by Shantanu Bagchi.
On Saturday morning, RSVP Movies announced to take the film to the floor with its official Twitter handle. Sharing a picture of the film’s clapboard, he wrote, “The first chapter of one of India’s deadliest secret missions begins today! #MissionMajnu started shooting in Lucknow.

The film is inspired by real events set in the 1970s and is the story of India’s boldest mission in the heart of Pakistan that changed the relationship between the two countries forever.
Written by Parvez Sheikh, Aseem Arora, and Sumit Batheja, thriller star Siddharth Malhotra as a RAW agent who leads the mission. The film has two important roles – it will be the much-awaited Bollywood debut of South superstar Rashmika Mandana and directed by award-winning advertising filmmaker Shantanu Bagchi.
