Fans of Ranbir Kapoor were in for a shock on Tuesday morning. There were a lot of speculations regarding the Barfi actor testing positive for coronavirus. Since the actor is not on any social media platform, confirmations were hard to come by.
Publications had reached out to the family to know about Ranbir’s well-being. According to a report by Pinkvilla, Ranbir’s uncle (chacha) Randhir Kapoor said he is not well, but couldn’t confirm the nature of the illness. He added that he was not in town.
Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir’s mother finally put an end to the speculations. She took to her Instagram to confirm that Ranbir Kapoor has indeed tested positive. She told, “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions.”
Well wishes and get well soon messages have been flooding social media. We hope that Ranbir recovers soon.

Ranbir Kapoor was recently shooting in Delhi with Shradha Kapoor of Luv Ranjan’s next. The name of the movie is yet to be finalised. His movie animal is also in the works.
