    Pan India star Pooja Hegde’s ‘Butta Bomma’ legacy lives on as ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ marks its fourth anniversary

    Pan-India star whose versatility knows no bounds, actress Pooja Hegde has been busy working on her highly awaited next action thriller ‘Deva’. Regarded as one of the most sought-after female stars in the Indian film industry, Pooja Hegde has always been a top choice for filmmakers and holds a strong filmography to her credit. Her 2020 release ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ which co-starred Allu Arjun in the lead, emerged as a massive blockbuster and gained her immense critical and commercial acclaim. As the film completes four years since its release today, fans of the actress continue to shower love on her and make her trend on social media as ‘Butta Bomma’.

    Essaying the role of Amulya in the film, Pooja Hegde earned herself two Best Actress awards for her noteworthy portrayal, at the 9th South Indian International Movie Awards, and the 7th Sakshi Excellence Awards, respectively. Interestingly, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ was Pooja Hegde’s fifth big hit in a row following ‘Rangasthalam’ (2018), ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’ (2018), ‘Maharshi’ (2019) and ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’ (2019). Counted as one of the actress’s best works to date, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ remains a fan favourite and earned Pooja nationwide recognition. The film’s hit song ‘Butta Bomma’ became immensely popular, further solidifying her status in the industry.

    Meanwhile, speaking of her next, ‘Deva’ is Directed by Rosshan Andrrews and Produced by Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur’s Roy Kapur Films. The film is slated for release on October 11, 2024, on the occasion of Dussehra.
