When his wife is assaulted and the criminals escape free, a blind voiceover artist grows disillusioned. He becomes a vigilante and vows to exact vengeance on those guilty for his wife’s death, all while eluding the cops with the falsehood that a blind man can kill someone.
Kaabil was released in theatres on January 25, 2017. At the 63rd Filmfare Awards, Roshan was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance. Despite a poor showing in China when it was released in 2019, the film was a commercial success. T-Series published the complete soundtrack album on December 21, 2016. Rajesh Roshan created all of the music.
